Well last weekend I was listening to some stuff on Youtube and then walked away from the system and just let it play. About a hour or more I got back to it and one of his songs was playing.

OTHMAN WAHABI - CATFISH BLUES (Black Snake Moan)

So now I didn't know of this artist or this movie clip but no doubt got me interested in both.
With a little searching last night I did find the movie

Black Snake Moan is a 2006 American drama film written and directed by Craig Brewer, and starring Samuel L. Jackson,Christina Ricci, and Justin Timberlake. The plot focuses on a Mississippi bluesman (Jackson) who holds a troubled local woman (Ricci) captive in his house in an attempt to cure her of her nymphomania after finding her severely beaten on the side of a road.

The title of the film derives from the 1927 Blind Lemon Jeffersonsong. The film draws numerous references to the Mississippi Blues movement, not least in its title and soundtrack.

I found it on netflix and watched it last night and thought it was a good movie.

Now as far as Othman Wahabi his work is not in that movie, he just clipped it together to make the vid. He looks like a very new artist that is starting to record so I thought I'd post this so others will know.
