so who here owns an Intel Nuc or similar micro pc for thier home theatre setup?

I bought a nuc nuc5cpyh for my home theatre recently and was running Jriver media centre on it on a 58inch 4ktv at 3840x2160 and it could play some films brilliantly without issue and others it could not without audio video sync issues and now ive uprgraged to the latest kaby lake i7 nuc and its awesome does everything very well and the audio playback is great too they are much quieter than a normal pc because they are so small as well anyone had a play with these curious to hear your stories

I've been interested in the NUCs since they first came out, but my old machines keep chugging along - the core of my HTPC is more than eight years old. (I've added RAM, a SSD for the system disk, and a video card that can play 4K video.) Maybe some day . . .
