Solen Caps/Eloctrolytics

Any ideas on upgrading the AR'9s Electrolytic caps to Solen Caps in the Crossover?What would this do and is it worth it ?

Most any cap with a good rep should sound better than a NP electrolitic in a crossover. NP electrolitics are used because they are cheap in cost.

I agree with Thatch. Any decent cap will be a better choice of the NP caps found in some older designs (and some newer). If you really like your speakers and plan on keeping them around a while, yuo might even want to look into some higher quality pieces such as the AuriCaps or similar. These are all I will use in our mods for both speakers and electronics.
