Solving Tuner Need

I knew it will not be a pretty match, but wondering about the possibility of matching my pioneer SA 98000 amp up with my onkyo 8511 receiver or yamaha 2040 receiver. Is this reasonable and, if so, how should it be correctly done?

Use the Pioneer's "power/line in" jacks to connect to the Yamaha, with a RCA interconnect. If the Yammie doesn't have a "pre-out" at the other end of the string, use a Tape/Record (not Tape/Play) RCA output, and turn off all the speakers. :yes: You can experiment, maybe the Onkyo is better at one job or another.
