Some of my gear

I have never posted here but really enjoy this page, the amount of knowledge here is unbelievable to say the least! Thank you all for the great resource you have created, It is an invaluable tool for a beginner like myself.

I have been collecting 70’s receivers for a couple years now and thought I would share some photos of my gear with you all. As you may be able to tell the Kenwood KA series is by far my favorite.

If anyone wants to part with D-7 or D-10 rack handles I am your man!

Please excuse the poor photos, and I hope this is the correct place for this type of post.

I forgot to mention my favorite part of my collection, the Apple AirPort Express!
I have every system connected to one so I can wireless stream music to one or many of them with my iPhone or Macs.
Also, every amp is connected to a Z-Wave SmatThings outlet so they can be powered on/off remotely from my iPhone (Even if I am away from home).

Very nice collection. That Marantz is surely feeling lonely among those Kenwoods. Send it to me so he's younger brother 2216 can have a company. :)

Technology is great these days. I have Chromecast Audio connected to all stereos and TVs in my house. Using TP-Link smart outlets for remote on/off functionality. But on the other hand there is still that great feeling of removing LP from the sleeve, putting it on a platter and manually moving arm to a start position to start playback.

Sweet! That KR-4070 looks awesome. I have a KR-5030 (next model up) - that was my first silver face receiver and rocked my last semester of college a few years ago.

I didn’t include speaker photos because they are nothing special in my opinion, but here you go.
The KA-9100 is driving two Klipsch F-30’s and a Klipsch 12HG 300W subwoofer.
The KA-5500 runs my TV room setup, it’s driving two Pioneer SP-FS52’s and a Sony SA-W2500 100W 10-inch subwoofer.
The KA-3500 is my bedroom system and it is driving a pair of Pioneer CS-77’s that my dad bought new in Hong Kong sometime in the 70’s. I have flipped the grilles because I am not a huge fan of the original wood lattice design.
The other units are all each connected to a set of Sony SS-MF550H’s.

Last night a pair of D-7 and D-10 rack handles arrived and they have improved the looks of the 9100 considerably.
Still looking for another set of D-7's so I can add the tuner back into the mix.
