Some thoughts on P & S

    I seem to recall that it helps to minimize cone motion during shipping by shorting the speaker terminals before packing. Anyone verify this?

    I've heard the same. Seems to make sense...and probably wouldn't hurt.

    I would probably just wedge foam rubber behind the cone if I was worried. As an experiment, try shorting your speaker terminals and pushing the cone to see if it makes any difference.
