    Just wondering what your thoughts would be on this tuner/receiver?

    looks pretty low on the scale of Sony. Not investment material, but would make a decent bedroom or garage system.

    I had one years ago, don't know what happened to it, went through the wars(college days) like a champ, It was a very good receiver, the tuner worked great, the 40w was perfectly fine for my needs. I'd like to get the V55 if I ever see one for a reasonable price. It wasn't low on the Sony scale, was a new model when they were transitioning to digital. A very well built unit.
