Sony X707 EX find...

Just picked this up today with pair of NAD 2200 power amps and a broken Denon POA 2200.
I paid $80.00 for all of it i have to pick up the amps later this week.
This deck works nice, had it through headphones but will thread it into my system tomorrow.
Some little scratches to the top and smells like Cigarette smoke but not bad.
I didn't expect to find something this nice after the Revox..

After just a little low to mid volume test last night I'm stoked.
Wish my Rotel 990 was working to compare but like it so far.
The Infinity RS7 speakers sounded a little busy and rushed with the Rotel that i can remember.
To the point i gave the Infinities a bad mark of what's so special?
With this deck the speaker have room and time to think if that makes sense.

All the power amps have issues..
The NAD's one seems to have the hum safety relay shutting down issue, i am going to replace them.
The other seems to have nothing wrong but haven't hooked it to my system yet, the Denon speaker A right works left dead.
Speaker B left works right is dead.. What the heck is that?

I am sooo jealous! 80 bucks is a steal for a Sony CDP-X707ES. TOTL in the 90's.

Clean the laser lens. It's probably coated with tar.

Cleaned it the other day it was fine, inside was spotless.
This deck is nice period.
So out of all the pile i got a working player and one working NAD 2200 amp.
The Denon only B speakers work and the other NAD 2200 is FUBAR.
Not bad.
