Spellbinder's Meager Cave...

My Spine Is The Bassline
Living in an apartment presents it's challenges. Changing a second bedroom into my "cave" was/is one of them. I continue to tweak things here and there, but I'm quite happy with the way my system sounds here...

Receiver: Marantz 2230
Turntable: Pioneer PL-518 (AT120E Cart)
CD: Yamaha Natural Sound CDX-393 MkII
Tape: Yamaha Natural Sound KX-500U

Very nice!!!

Bonus points for the Kramer painting. :D
HAHA. Thanks. :thmbsp:

I'm actually looking at a bit of an overhaul in the near future. Looking to move the Marantz in favor of an integrated amp. Not sure what yet, but investigating the possibilities. Also looking to upgrade my speakers. Love the A-100's, but looking to add to these or replace them outright.

Marantz 2230/ Boston A100's = Nice setup and a great combo! Keep them and upgrade your sources. IMHO Vry nice rig!

Jim

How do you like your Pioneer PL-518 turntable? What cartridge are you using?

I have one also (but the 518X version which is a black plinth) and its always nice to see another one being used.

I LOVE the PL-518. Using an AT120E cart. Being a new cart, there's only about 30 hours on it. Produces absolutely brilliant sound, to my ears.
