Once again, the Gateway Audio Society is hosting a fundraiser and audiophile stereo auction to benefit the Washington Overseas Mission, an 11 day medical outreach to two villages in Honduras. Please read about our efforts to assist, and feel free to join us in supporting Abbe's team of medical professionals in a most worthy charity. We will have our fete on Sunday, June 4th, from 2 pm to 5 pm, in south county.
RSVP required to attend
Thanks!

It is the week prior to the event, and we are testing the family room setup out. We have a Sony cd player, Ming Da 2A3 preamp, Harman Kardon Citation II amp all driving a pair of IMF Reference 80 MKII speakers. With the Telarc Fiesta! cd, it sounds great on the trumpet flourishes.

Keith Herron from Herron Audio just turfed us three superb Tektroxix scopes, a function generator, and a frequency counter that would be a solid contributor to any tech workbench. Feel free to get involved in the charity auction.

Read the AudioCircle thread, looks and sounds great! I will see if I can make it. Bit of a drive during the very busy spring season, but ya never know.

We went out to an estate sale this morning in pursuit of a cool mid 1950s mono speaker, and it is now rolling some tunes downstairs with our mono integrated Eico HF12. You will hear this tomorrow in the main den during the event. It is a circa 1958 JBL C38 Baron, with a D130 15" woofer, and an 075 bullet tweeter, with an ebony veneer cabinet and Herman Miller spun aluminum thin edge stiletto legs.
