Stromberg-Carlson Perfectempo (PR-499)

Picked up a Stromberg Carlson PR-499 Turntable with some other equipment. Everything seems to be there, motor is quiet, lighy still works, the belt is shot and I'm sure there's a few other things need looking into. [Mod Edit]

I have one of these, and looking to get it someone who will appreciate and use it.




I believe the plinth is original? There's a home made wooden box that sits on top to protect everything.

The platter cork looks much better now.

Late to the party here but want to say how gratifying it is to know that decks like this one are still out there, and still in skilful and appreciative hands. My family had a (mono) Stromberg-Carlson console when I was just a little tyke so I've still a soft spot for their gear. Thanks.
