Hello all,my names jimmy,as i guess you have figured out by now.
i had forgotten my love for things audio, because i was caught by the rat race and, living life in todays world.
well,my pop passed in 2006 and,my mom gave me back the stereo system i had given my pop for a gift when i was in the service.
when i looked at that big kenwood, all lit up and, laid the needle down on kind of blue,BABY I WAS BACK !!!

Yeah im pretty much thru with the $300 boombox from best buy my taste dont run toward the 20,000 dollar audiophile stuff.
1. because i cant afford it.
2. because i dont have long enough to admire before im on another job.

but i hope to be in and out of here enough to gain some knowledge about equipment.doubt that i will be able to help anyone, but you never know.just maybe.anyway, hello everybody.:D.

Hey Jimmy, welcome to AK. Glad to see that another person is once again enjoying good music from vintage gear.
