Studiolab Speaker Set circa 1980.

Does anyone have some info on these speakers? They seem like a deal but I don't think they are working. I am waiting to hear back from the seller.

Studiolab was just getting it's start around that time. Pretty much hand made by a bunch of Toronto guys in a small industrial unit. Used a lot of Peerless drivers. Good speakers at a reasonable price as they hadn't built much of a rep at that point. They're considered more of a high end budget speaker now - good rep.

Thanks for the repsonse Avocado Dream. The guy said they are working but might need to be rewired. I would assume something doesn't work if he thinks that. I'm waiting to hear back from him on the condition of the drivers.

These things look huge, and then you have the subs that don't look small either. I am going to have to sell a couple of things if these pan out. I don't think the wife will like the size to much.
