I got a message recently from a local guy who wanted me to look at a Klipsch speaker for him. He dropped it off today. It's a Klipschorn, and it looks like it's been in a back alley, but he says it works...

I know it's ancient because of two things one is the crossover, which doesn't have anything on it that they make anymore, and the other is the serial number. That's where I'm stumped. I read the serial number decoding article and that didn't help. This serial number is different... it's only five digits long, and it doesn't start with or end with any of the numbers or letters suggested. Can anyone help me? The serial number is 56042
