Survival Russia is presented by Lars Grednev. His shows highlight various topics in woodcraft and survival, field cooking, foods, MRE's Russian style, survival shelters, tools, etc. One area that is particularly interesting to me is how to lay down fires on deep snow, and fires that will last a very long time. Several of the shows Lars is demonstrating these things in temperatures of -35 degrees and lower. His evaluation of knives, axes, saws, and chopping blades in very informative. In My part of the world his various shelters would be a lifesaver if a properly equipped person was stranded in the Rocky Mountains in a blizzard.
