I am new here. I want to use dexoit on my pots and switches. Are they get-able for a novice? I have removed the top and bottom and can't see them. Next is to take off the front. I don't want to do that if I can't get to them there. Can you help? Also, once deoxit is used, can I use "faderlube" on all switches and pots as well, or do you recommend a different product? Thanks.

You'll have to take off the faceplate, remove the screws on all 5(?) boards to get at them. Just restored a 1250, it's not too bad just be careful. Make sure you pull the speaker selector, filter, and source boards under the flat amp and tone boards and clean them. Fader Lube is great.

Yep hit with deox-it than some F100 or F5. The lube actually keeps it nice and smooth.
