SX-1500TD Info

I'm looking for a schematic for a sx1500td. It works fine other than all the face lamps don't work. I checked them all and replaced the burnt out ones. Still nothing. It looks like there are several power wires going to the mode selector switch which seems to be the lamp supply for all the face plate items. I'm not a tech, I just checked the wires with a VM and get no power coming from a board near the tuning section. The lamps say 8 volts so can I tap into another 8 volt source if I find one or will that overload that source? Sorry if this isn't too clear but like I say I'm not a tech.

Don't exceed the amperage or you'll replace the lights too.

There's gotta be a fuse in there. Go looking and the bad one solves the problem I'll bet.

Synchronisity has been achieved Thanks Asoc for the tip. Once I bypassed the fuse the lights worked. So I cut out the soldered in fuse and added a removeable fuse holder to the back of the receiver. All is well now. The old girl sounds pretty decent and didn't clean up badly either. Thanks ahain for the help.
