hi
picked up a mint 680 at a garage sale. pretty much flawless and performs like a champ. only issue ( besides two burnt out dial bulbs ) is the vinyl wood grain covering. it is lifting on a couple of edges. I imagine just a bit of glue, and use a flat plastic applicator to squeeze out air bubbles and flatten it? what type of glue should I use? any experience out there?
thanks!

Use anything that is plastic safe. Contact cement works well, but then again so does Elmers wood glue. If you have the room, and the ability, a reveneer with wood (after removing the vinyl) is best looking.
