SX-990 front panel fuse light burned out

Does anyone know how in the world I can replace one of these assuming I can find a new one? On the surface it looks like a complete front end disassembly job.

The "STEREO" and several of the source bulbs (FM and PHONO 1) were burned out. Original values were bayonette bulbs at 8 volts, .25 amps. I replaced them (per a suggestion in AK) with Radio Shack 14 volt, .24 amp units. That worked fine. The fuse-type bulbs which light the main panel are the problem. 3 are OK and 1 is out. I see no easy way to get access without a big disassembly job. Every time I do that and reassemble I have parts left over. Scares me. Another member - mea2112 - has kindly offered to review his manual and offer guidance on this and several other issues with the SX-990.

Alex,

ps: dont be scare about the left parts, after assembling :D
your not alone ...

Now i have a better system to de-&a-ssemble my little Babys:
i take a special parts-case with many of little Boxes Inside.
All little Parts goes in. First a mark them from A1-A25. Then i put the
first removed in the A1 Box. The second in A2 etc.
All before, i take a lot of pictures in the DigiCam ... :naughty:
