I've been slowly working though getting this SX1010 back to life, it was run pretty hard. I've already recapped and replaced out the transistors on the power supply to get that set straight. I also had to replace all the outputs on the left channel as there was a short, which was causing all kinds of issues.
Replacing the outputs brought it semi back to life. It has output again and sounds decent, and the relay no longer kicks itself in and out endlessly.
The issue is, even with no volume, there is a nasty popping, scratching and static sound on the left channel, which I presume is a transistor.
The questions is, which transistor on the driver board would be causing this nasty static scratching and crashing sound?
