System wide EQ?

So I am currently using my m40x's with the angled HM5 pads and I feel like I could just use a little bit of EQ to bring up the bass to really make these headphones awesome. I really love the highs that these have but I just need a little more bass/punch on kick drums (I like a lot of metal/rock music). I use Foobar2000 to listen to my FLAC files and the EQ in there seemed to do the trick but I want to be able to use an EQ when I listen to my tunes on spotify as well. Any ideas here?

You want JRiver Media Center. Enable the WDM driver and set it as system default. You will have access to various DSP effects EQ including. As a benefit you will bypass Windows mixer when playing from Spotify or other players that do not support WASAPI/ASIO which will improve SQ. You can use it to play other content too effectively you will no longer need Foobar. The license is $50 but it is $50 well spent. It has 30 days full featured trial too.
