I have a line on purchasing a technics sl1100a.
I have not confirmed the condition of the table other than it is missing two feet and it is in "good working condition ".

I am looking for information and opinions on this table. I know nothing about it other than a cursory google search.
I have a pioneer pl 540 now and would probably give one of the tables to a family member once I decide which one I prefer.
I will also post a question regarding prospective value in the dollars and sense forum.

Thanks In advance.

I've had one come through the shop. Excellent performer. The arms look kinda ancient, but they sound good. Does it have the strobe plug-in module?

They are known for missing feet. those do show up on eBay. Easily a $500 deck in decent shape.

that's a table that has a PERFECT spot for a linear tracking arm like the eminent technology. a friend had the M&K modified rabco SL8e and it sounded great with his maggies.

The 1100A has been flying under the radar and buyers who know their tables have been scooping them up, if in decent shape do the same.
