The typical problem with the 1300 MK2 is the failure of a part in the cuing mechanism . This is a problem which affects nearly every MK2 1300, 1400 and 1500 produced. Technics redesigned the part and made it available to authorized service personnel but those failed too.
Recently, someone here on AK made a detailed engineering drawing of the part in question and sent it off to a 3D printing company, Shapeways, here in the US. He received a part that he was able to use and, at least temporarily, got the table running again. Shapeways retained the drawings and will make parts to order for something like $30.00.

It took me a lot of work to even get to the point of considering the repair of the cueing lever.
