Nice stuff you have there. Height and degree of tilt will depend on a variety of factors, many are addressed above. If you can mock something up (stacks of books with stacks of paint stirrers, note pads, playing cards, etc. at the front edge to adjust angle), you will be able to nail down the appropriate dimensions for your stands. Do yourself a favor and experiment with speaker placement also, where they end up may be nowhere near where they are now. Also, if you can swing it, try not to have a wall too close behind you. A little space behind you will avoid muddy sound due to reflection. Good luck.
