tempest - anyone here heard of them?

The Tempest is a 15" subwoofer driver manufactured by Adire Audio. If you chdeck the DIY forums of any audio site, probably including this one, I'm sre you can find lots of info on howitcan be used and how satisfied people are with it.

I have heard only one sub made with this driver. It is an infinite baffle with four Tempests. Here is where you can find out anything you want to know about IB subs: http://f20.parsimony.net/forum36475/

Anyway, this sub was fantastic. I have no knowledge about car subs, but I'm sure you can build a fantastic sub with a Tempest.

I've heard of them, they were popular among the crowd a few years ago, don't know if they still are a big hit, but I remember a couple of users on TermPro used them and loved them, esp the pricer vs performance ratio.

i know they are made by adire audio, makers of the shiva's and brahma's, i'll check out those reviews, i'm thinking about running 4 of them in an exteded cab pickup truck as sub drivers.
