That thing is HUGE! What's your largest receiver?B

The biggest receiver I've ever owned is my Denon AVR-5700. It's not nearly as large as the hulksters in this thread, but it's still pretty substantial at 47 lbs.

Dimensions (WxDxH) : 17.1 in x 19.4 in x 7.1 in
Weight: 47.4 lbs

I love the power section in this thing. :D

Do I recall reading that the Marantz 19 is particularly high quality? (I've never seen one.)

Nice looking collection!

View attachment 929376 View attachment 929379 View attachment 929380 Not sure if newer receivers are allowed in this thread, but thought I would share one of the last great sounding Uber receivers that's built like a tank, at 73lbs 18in long 17in wide 9in tall and a true 150wpc, it's definitely a back muscle puller as it did just that to my back when I foolishly thought I'd just pick it up right quick and move it to another rack (not smart). Anyway onkyo did a very good job with this one and extremely clean on the inside as well. Great looking receivers on here and lots of good listening, happy listening all

Simply pornographic!

Awesome setup dude!

I have an Onkyo TX 6500 MKII from the 70's and it is a beast. I think they pretty much put everything but the kitchen sink in this baby as it weighs about 50 lbs. Loud too. Pretty sure I may have awaken the dead a few times.

These "monster receivers" can be fun, until you get old, and have difficulty lifting and carrying them safely.

i could barely lift my 64lb SX-1250 a few years ago when i got it, im a little older now and i cant lift it at all. its on the lower shelf and thats where its staying

I am far more of a "mid size" receiver collector but my Sony STR 5800 is my biggest with the MCS 3248 just a bit smaller. My Realistic STA 800 is about as heavy however while shorter.

My SX-1010 is pretty dad-gum big. But, the SX-1250 is truly a monster! I don't think that I will buy any more (unless I just happen to stumble on to something-not going to actively search). Unless I "graduate" to try "Tubes".;)
