That thing is HUGE! What's your largest receiver?B

I have two Yamaha RX-V1 and though they are about 62 pounds each, the chassis are normal width so they are easy to place if you have something that can hold the weight.

My CR-2040 is "only" 46 pounds but at 23 inches wide it is not easy to find a spot for. It tends to go on rather than in furniture.

LOL whoever posted about finding a cabinet with enough space to keep one of these wasn't kidding. My wife allows me to have a "stereo" as long as it can be kept out of sight. Took forever to find something that she liked AND could house my little SX850. I still had to take the back out of the cabinet to accommodate the depth of the little monster.

Can power amps join in? I don't have any receivers but my largest amp is my Jeff Rowland model 5 at 19" wide x 8.75" tall x 24" deep. She weighs 120 lbs and has an output of 150/300/475. The model 5 is larger than my Bedini BA-803 which isn't small and is larger than each of my Ray Lumley mono blocks (though together they would be larger at 150 lbs).

I don't have a picture, but I recently sold a JVC JR-S400 mkII. That thing weighed something like 38 pounds and was 22 inches wide.

Yup, Wintec R-1120 was the widest of them all. Lots of empty box in the tuner side of that receiver. Had a CR-3020 which was a wide boy as well. Still have a Rotel RX-1603.

The two brothers together - G8000 & QRX-9001. Both in mint condition and in better condition than me for their age

You can tell how big the G-8000 by just looking at the full sized ATX HTC PC (Desktop) case below in the cabinet :D The QRX-9001 is actually wider than the G-8000.

The biggest one around here would be a toss-up between my Pioneer SX-1250 and my Pioneer QX-949A, both pretty huge IMO.

I'm going to have to say that the pig I have on my bench presently is without doubt the winner in my case.Huge doesn't even begin to describe it!
Rotel RX-1603. 23 5/8''w x 7''h x 18 7/8''d & 73lbs. For you metric geezers,that's 600w x 180h x 480d & 33kg's.

My Dream receiver.

OK. I have a few, and have so far owned two.

Yamaha CR 2020, which a good friend now enjoys, and a Sony STR V7, the one I kept.

I don't think I could pass up the Rotel given the chance.

The biggest one I ever owned at 24'' wide was the woodcased Kenny 9600. The reason it's not here anymore is because of it's size as it was a great sounding unit.

I got an STR5800SD last month and I have come to really, really like it. I love how it looks, sounds and feels. A few weeks later I got a Sansui 881 and after having both for a while I decided to flip the Sansui.......the Sony sounded the same and seemed to be built a lot better, a fact I was amazed by. The best feature is the placement of the volume and tuning knobs; up high and easy to grab.

So, you're saying it's huge, and ready to uh, recieve 'er..... I thought this was audio pron? :p

My two biggest are the Yamaha cr-3020 and Kenwood kr-9050. Haven't ever compared the two but I'm pretty sure the Yamaha wins in the size and weight catagory. Both are great looking receivers though!

is that the avr-5700??

I have the 3600 and she's 45lbs and doesn't fit in my audio rack very well. sounds good for a HT receiver
