I've never heard Albert Collins. You've posted a couple of his albums, so I'll have to find some and have a listen.
Any Mozart Violin Concertos enthusiast, must have good taste in other music ...

Albert Collins is awesome and quite the show man. You'll enjoy it.

Nanci Griffith has such a wonderful vocal, too. That's a LIVE recording of hers,... fantastic!

My favourite too. My Uncle made a Tape for My Dad and we listened to it a lot driving around in his black Chevy S10.

Well 8, I watched/listened to the two vids you posted, and WOW, what a great band. And Albert really lights it up. Just excellent!
It's interesting the way he capos up to the 9th fret. Must be a pentatonic thing. But whatever ... I'll have to get me some Collins on CD. Redbook sounds the best on my system, and I can hardly wait to here him and the band with a full, detailed sound stage.
Sorry it took so long for me to have a listen, my wife has had me pretty tied up with pre-xmas stuff. Not that I'm p****wipped, or anything ...
Anyway, thanks so much for the musical introduction.
