Well since we now have our own marantz forum, I was thinking that we might want to make a sticky with the link to the Marantz Legendary audio data base, that can be found here......

I bring this up because its a hole TON of info that can be very helful to some one else like it was to me......

Yup...that site has been invaluable to me in my Marantz collecting. It's actually been to good! Makes me want to get everything.

I go there all the time. The other site without the hyphen has valuations, which I also find helpful. I wish there was some history or fancy description to go with the pages.

Dittto on all the comments made so far. Maybe we could somehow augment the great info on that site with more detailed comments/reviews? [Might be too ambitious...?] I'd also like to see a few pieces described somewhere that fall into the category of "not-too-bad Marantz gear that just missed that site's cut-off date", like some of the Esotec series, and even those few later Marantz cd players with the Phillips transports that people like to mod.
