I'm spinning an LP of Care by Shriekback right now, which I purchased used earlier today. Don't think this album was ever reissued on CD, and Dave Allen's bass sure sounds epic on vinyl.
Perhaps the best known album by this twisted group, and one that evokes memories of my early teenage years. This vinyl copy I have is in excellent condition, and I'm a little surprised at how neat this recording sounds - very spacious and "live" sounding. And also creepy. Classic cover too.
Very good album: a nice mix of rockin' and more mellow tunes. Accelerate was a return to form, and Collapse is a real good continuation of the comeback. The guys are aging quite well, thank you! :thmbsp:
