Issa Burke, seated in the picture, grew up in our town - my son went to high school with her. She's part of a very talented musical family. Parents are Susie Burke and David Surette.

Santa told me he wanted you to have a 'taste of Maine' for Christmas!

I was in Booth Bay many years ago picking up a new boat from Washburn and Doughty. I went to three bars, in one bar was a band called Si Chi, a 9 piece Band with lots of brass and a big sound jamming Average White Band.
In another bar was a fellow on the drums and a middle aged women with a guitar playing some bluesy tunes, I remember every time the guy hit his snare drum all the candles on all the tables would jump.
Last bar was pure country with three guys killing it. To this day the very best random live bar music I’ve ever heard was in Maine.
Thanks I’ll run the CD out again on my way to Nola tomorrow. Merry Christmas!
