The perfect speaker: Stop searching for that unicorn!

What'd he say, "...enjoy what you've got"?
I've got to remember that. (Enjoy what I've got...enjoy what I've got...enjoy...).

Part of the fun is learning about design and passing things along. No system is the end all, and if its ok for components to be what they are it becomes enjoyable to hear new things

I think many of us know this and agree. BUT, it's so damn fun looking and trying all of them out. I've hit the level where I have several pairs, each for different types of listening. Right now I'm using a pair of Frankenspeakers turned up real loud as I make dinner for my son who is back from college. Madonna is blasting though a combo of JBL and Fostex drivers in an Altec cabinet...run through an old lafayette amp...sound great. Tomorrow, might not.

There is no such thing as the perfect speaker. There is only the ones you've settled on right now.

Heard the perfect speaker and still want the perfect speaker but that does not mean I'll, get the perfect speaker !
