The Pretenders on Austin City Limits

This fairly recent taping of The Pretenders has been showing on my local PBS station (KLRU, Austin).

IMHO, it is a terrific show. I've seen it twice and look forward to seeing it again.

It was pretty good, at least they didn't embarrass themselves like so many other old fart rock bands tend to do.

I DVR a good many episodes of Austin City Limits and have continually been surprised at how good the shows "sound" and
the level of the performances.

It just finished playing here again on KLRU. That's the third viewing for me and I could easily watch it another three. Chrissie and her band and that music just does something for me.
