What is that doing to the damping factor?
This might be a dumb question but....re: flyback diode mod.....

My guess is nothing, The diodes only conduct if the 'back EMF' caused by the speaker reactance exceeds the power supply rail voltages.

wouldnt it conduct *always* when that particular side of the sine wave is 0? right now, the PN junction is reversed biased, and if I read the idea right, the diode is contrary to the 'flow' of each particular junction? (I wish I could draw it)
