Hi guys!
Before I do anything foolish (I'm no electrical genius), I thought I'd ask the group.
My TD124 mkI has a very annoying 60Hz hum as soon as I switch it on. I checked everything under the tt body and all the wires are in the right place.
My idea was to replace the power cord with a 3 pronged one (with ground) and connect the motor ground wire to the mains ground (in the wall wart)... Is that risky? Do you think it could solve my problem or do I have to keep the motor ground close to the chassis???
