Before Thrash became defined, refined and confined, there was room for interpretation. Thrash had to come from somewhere. I think this album was a major influence.
These guys were from Finland, but they easily could be mistaken for a band from the NWOBHM. I've seen them compared to Raven who were certainly early thrash.
The album has a bit of a cult following. Little known but highly revered. It's short at 27 minutes, but all you have to do is flip it back over to side one and get blown away again, which is exactly what I just did. Finally ripping the vinyl to digital after all these years.

@Delarama It's been approximately 32 - 33 years since I've heard Fire in the Brain!!!! Will be looking for it on YouTube later on to get reacquainted. I remember going into the record store with my buddy one weekend and as we surfed through the Metal section and got to the"O's" they had a copy of Fire in the Brain as well as the 12" Turn The Cross Upside Down. My buddy bought Fire and I grabbed the Turn The Cross...

Well we don't see OZ posted ever!!
I might have known they'd be represented in your collection.

Supposedly the band received a royalty check for Turn The Cross Upside Down in the amount of 666 SEK (Swedish money). Principle songwriter Jay C. Blade decided right then and there to stop writing songs with Satanic lyrics.
I looked up the value of SEK to US dollars. 666 SEK is equal to $73 which in today's money is about $176.
