JJ Cale "Live"
Starting off with a new Eagles 2 CD compilation.
I'm off to a rockin' blues start with Chris Duarte's "Texas Sugar Strat Magik". Close your eyes at times and you'd swear it was Stevie Ray Vaughan.
After that, I'm thinking it might be a Delbert McClinton morning.
I gots my blues, my Panera's coffee. It's just a $^&$ shame work has to get in the way.
First Jimmy Buffet Havanna Daydreaming
The Band Islands
Earl Klugh....Low Ride
Pure Prairie League....Bustin' Out
Soundtrack from "Good Morning Vietnam"
All sounding good on those stacked Advents
Was spinning some Luscious Jackson - Natural Ingredients, chills the brain when I get home from work....ahhhhh.
Loading up some Eva Cassidy next.
Sun is shining, my son is behaving beautifully. Great morning for tunes
Home for lunch Vic Chestnut is The Actor Happy?
I'm playing disk1 of Back in the Usa by Paul McCartney waiting for
the heater to do it's thing so I can take a shower.
Well now I've got Big Brother and The Holding Co. Live at Winterland 1968. I love this disk! All the guitar distortion and
feedback. Got her cranked, getting into Summertime now. I love
the whole SF Haight Ashbury sound, think next will be one of
my rare Quicksilvers'. Oh, Yeah! :guitar:
Sure was a great place to go see a show too.
Drove to work listening to my new Los Lobos compilation. Man the ugly, rainy commute just flew by as I was lost in the tunes.
Now I'm previewing my 2003 Christmas Compilation. It's just something I do for fun, and pass them out to my co-workers instead of a Christmas Card. It is almost finished. I recorded it to a cd/rw until I finalize it. Here's the tentative line-up:

No tunes yet today JDaniel, but that Christmas comp you working on there looks really good. I have really enjoyed last years, Thanks again! :thmbsp:
AKUS - Forget About It
Dianna Krall - All For You
Dan Fogelberg - Souvenirs
John Fogerty - Center Field
Ellis Paul - Carnival Of Voices
I'm in a progressive rock mood today, playing Nightwish's Angels Fall First. I don't know why they're considered "goth". Ozric
Tentacles next I'm sure, probably Klaatu and some Hawkwind,
and quite possibly High Tide. Yummy! :
Started out this morning with Mary Chapin Carpenter "The Essential".
Now playing Bruce Cockburn "Dart To The Heart".
Up next -
David Hulsey & New Dynasty "Glass House"
The Derek Trucks Band "Soul Serenade"
I'm a day ahead and a format different. I've got about 5 versions of "The Planets" all on CD. I was listening to this yesterday on CD. It's recorded in surround, but my HT rig is currently 2-ch.
Right now it's WDET fm. Mostly NPR at this time. Just waiting for the music to begin.
In a jazz mood this morning. Started out with Chuck Mangione - "Feels So Good" and "Fun & Games"..
Next up is Dave Brubeck - "Time Out"..
After that? Who knows. I do have a fusion album here - Miles Davis - "Aura", but it's a little heavy for a morning spin. Instead, I may cue up a little Stanley Clark, Al Dimeola, and Jon-Luc Ponty "Rites of String".
