I went to school with Burgess,was two years below him,an earlier band was called Years I helped to glue the single sleeve together,it all happened on the kitchen table at 422 Rochdale Road in Middleton North Manchester,the home of the Coogans,Steve went on to be a successful actor/comedian and Martin fronted The Mock Turtles.
Swamp Thing is a very good tune.

I bought what i think was their 1st release (correct me if i'm wrong)

My aunt still lives on the langley estate
Uncle used to live in prestwich,
I was actually born and bred in kendal,mam n dad moved up there just before i was born,my elder brother by 2 years born in crumpsall.spent alot of time in manchester down the years visiting family.our kid moved back down there in the early 90' had a flat on lower seedly road salford,the times we had football and clubbing at weekends,great days gotta alot of love for that city.
