Late for sure, but I just got a copy of it yesterday, and I can't believe how good it sounds:

Recently picked up Lucinda Williams' new recording Sweet Old World.
A complete re-recording of her album of 25 yrs ago.
The guitar work is amazingly good. Treat yourself and check it out!

upload_2018-1-22_9-13-55.jpeg upload_2018-1-22_9-14-48.jpeg This Dwight Yoakam record was recommended to me by my cousin who is a blugrass fan and he was spot on with this one. Really caught me by surprise, I will need to spin it again but I really liked what I heard. The Alison Krauss is a nice intro to her material and her cover of "Baby, Now That I Found You" by The Foundations is perfection.

Found this while looking for my favorite version of 'Killing The Blues" by the Malcolm Holcombe Group.

    Quite a nice collection.

Perhaps many of you already know this, but for streaming awesome Americana, I highly suggest Boot Liquor. Their library/database is excellent.
