This is my first post in "Today's Canadian playlist..." hard to believe as I've been an AK member since 2005, AND I'm a big fan of numerous Canadian artists . . ..
Gordon Lightfoot ~ my all time favorite artist...
Leonard Cohen ~ my third favorite artist... (after Gordy & The Moody Blues)
Steppenwolf ~ a GREAT band!
The Guess Who ~ a GREAT band!
Cowboy Junkies ~ yet another GREAT band!
Great Speckled Bird - S/T

Watching "From The Vaults" on CBC right now, episode 2 which features Sarah McLaughlin and KD Lang.
Kind of fun to see Sarah as she looked back in the late 80s. She was working with Netwerk Records at the time just down the street from me. I sold her a bike one day.

We were just hitchhiking through the area. After the show we got our packs and went and slept in the field across from the arena.
How about some youngsters getting some attention . . . There are many. Here are two.
