I was going to ask for advice on the best complete set of Beethoven string quartets on CD, but then I found this one on Amazon for under $15, so I ordered it, should be here tomorrow:

Even if it's not the greatest set, for that price, it should be an okay introduction to these pieces that were beloved by the great Verdi (he kept the complete scores by his bedside) :D

No worries - the Tokyo SQ are first rate musicians--you should enjoy it. It's also available on SACD if you have a player.
