I´m listening to Schubert´s 2nd Symphonie right now, and am loving it!
I have already listened to his 1st, and according to my notes, it was ok, but nothing special.
I like his 2nd much better
Neville Marriner, Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. Not sure about the audio quality; I´m listening on headphones. I sure do like the music, though

In my opinion, Schubert was the greatest composer. He really didn't know how to write anything bad...you are really going to enjoy the last two symphonies.
