Grace Around The World
Live At Sin-é
(Legacy Edition, 2003)
Awesome Power Pop - love the girl's harmony. It's getting a lot of airplay on two local college stations.
Tubed posted this band a few posts ago. I was looking around and found this. I think the acoustic version really shows their talent.
I don't have anything to add except for there's some seriously good things happening in here .
I notice that here, and another forum, and with different browsers, and with cache cleared - the "thumbnail" images for embedded videos are not being displayed - only a black rectangle with a white "play" button in the middle.
It makes them look like dead links. Edit - used workaround describe in "New Format" thread.
Yes, happening to me too on firefox. Not a good look.
The Modern Lovers- Old World
Great tune and fan video.
It's Youtube. Other websites with embedded youtube videos are the same. The only difference between these and a dead link is the white text in the top-right corner. I hope they go back to showing the image of the video.
Kelley Deal still rocks! Pardon the lo-fi audio - I like the live version better than the official video.
I know others have posted Cloud Nothings before but I don't think that this song has been posted. I looked back but could not find anything from this album. If I'm wrong - apologies.
I posted a great video about a "Cool Kid" and a non-video (just a picture of a record) something about a shark? Good band.
Yeah, you posted "Hey Cool Kid" a while ago. I thought someone posted something from the Life Without Sound album recently but I couldn't find it. Haven't seen an indie_links.pdf from you lately so searching old posts takes time and I'm easily distracted.
P.S. You're such a Cool Kid, Loop.
This is the Kit - Earthquake
Cool - I've got a great balance locally. There's a liberal arts college that's mostly girls and they play a lot of brainy artsy girl stuff that I like. And an engineering college that's mostly guys and they play a lot of the edgy psych / surf / garage stuff that I like. I let the Links PDF fall by the wayside cuz I got behind on the cross-referencing for the labels and release dates. But here's a "lite" version that is just thread chronological and is pretty much 100% automatically generated (attached).
