There's a similarly-covered Jazz at the Plaza, Volume II with Duke Ellington . . . guest vocals on a few cuts by Jimmy Rushing and Billie Holiday.

The music on both are great, which comes as no real surprise . . .

There is not much good you can say about having to get up at 3:00 AM, except for now it's 10:00 and I'm done for the day. Tomorrow I don't have to get up until 5 AM so it will seem like a vacation with two extra hours of sleep.

Between now and bedtime, I'm going to CATCH UP on my missed radio shows this week. First up, a digital recording of Ronnie Scotts Radio Show from London via MIXCLOUD:

Click HERE if you wish to check out the latest show - all of them are archived at Mixcloud so you could have a field day listening for a month or so if you wanted. I really enjoy Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club in London (a great Jazz club in my opinion) and I really like the show. CJRT Toronto broadcasts it weekly, but when I miss it, I can catch up via Mixcloud. I wish all live Jazz shows archived their shows on Mixcloud.

I love that one. I've spent countless hours playing around with the bass line for Rock and Roll Jelly.
