While I prefer earlier BOC, this one still had some good material on it. They were definitely targeting the radio friendly market at this point.

The track you dig was actually co-written with Canadian rocker Aldo Nova. Guest player who did the guitar and synth on the track. He had self titled hit record in '82.
A few weeks ago, I listened to the rest of the songs from the album on youtube; they were ok, but really didn´t do much for me.

I finally found a copy of the album and listened to all of it today, and I really like it! It has a great vibe/groove to it :)

I'm still listening to the LP I bought the day it came out. Its a little scratchy these days.

I would definitely pick up a collectors item like that if I ran across it.
I've never been able to determine how many copies they made of the Virgin Maiden Vinyl pressing. It seems to be going for $75.00 to $100.00 on the second hand market.

Oddly, the Special Edition is 105 grams, whereas my standard issue is 122 grams and the vinyl isn't translucent like a lot of virgin vinyl is.
Naturally of my two copies it's the valuable one that's showing a little bit of sleeve wear. LOL.

Still bucking the trend, but I don't care, because our genre started somewhere, mutherfuckers :)

A great slice of very early 70's rock (made a year after I was born) is Long Player, Faces. When Rod was a superb rock, bluesy vocalist. Where these the first 'Supergroup'?

A slice of some great late 80's hard, melodic rock......Lion. A stellar line up of a band, and a killer album. Got to meet and chat with Jerry best when he played Stairways (Birkenhead), with Freak of Nature; a much different band!

Great album there, TB.

The L.A..bands Scottish singer, Kal Swan has a massive, powerful voice. I prefer his work in Tytan the late blooming NWOBHM band.
Dangerous Attraction is a great album regardless, but I can't hear his voice without thinking of the promise and potential of Tytan. They simply arrived to late to the gate to get any traction as their debut and only album was released in 1985 instead of 1982 as had been planned..
Seek out "Rough Justice" if you don't already own it. The bass player was Kevin "Skids" Riddles from Angel Witch's early days.
