One of my favourite Thrash records ever recorded. Some amazing Metal records in 1985, but this one crushes most of them into dust.

Tour shirt for this one was baby blue as well. You stuck out in a crowd wearing a Bonded by Blood shirt!

85 was a great year for metal releases. That one kills. I heard Lesson in Violence on the Speed Kills comp and immediately tracked this LP down.

Just looked this one up.
Gotta be a story behind how this ended up in your collection. Bit on the obscure side, unless you're into the Spanish metal scene?o_O
Thought that one might raise an eyebrow.
Nope, I'm not into any Spanish metal scene. Can't speak the language.

It was simply curiosity about the band brought on by rave review's in Kerrang!

Of course back in the early '80's there was no internet. You had to rely on printed media and word of mouth to learn about new bands. I took a shot on Baron Rojo's second album, Volumen Brutal and must have liked it enough to buy the self titled debut album.
My buddies and I would take chances on different bands, trade thee albums with each other and see who liked what.

You can see that Baron Rojo was a prolific band. I only bought the first two albums.

I've always thought that this album cover from 1981 may have inspired Anthrax's 1984 debut album, Fistful Of Metal.
