How long can we keep this thread on the front page?

Mono discs only (even if played back through modern stereophonic equipment).

Apparently Prince Jesus approves of your choice of album covers...

I thought maybe he was a "prince" to go along with a certain "princess" doll we all know and love... ;)

 I do love that cover. Just listened to the mono version of the first Moby Grape.

    Very nice record, CG.

Probably 50-60% (if not more) of the vinyl LPs I have listed @ Today's SOUL Playlist are Mono recordings.

If this includes mono CDs as well, I would quote the following:

    G. F. Handel, Concerti Grossi Op. 6, Nos. 5-8,
English Baroque Orchestra conducted by Herman Scherchen
    Millenium Classics MCAD 80123

This recording from 1954 (part of a three separate disc release
of the complete Op. 6) contains the best sounding recording
of Cto. No. 5 that I know of. It was released on the super budget
Millenium Classics series in 1996-1997, and I believe it is now
    out of print.
