    Well, if I were a member of The Jury...I'd vote No. Yes they incorporated a lot synths into their sound, but I never heard them mixing their rock with other genre's, i.e. classical and jazz which forms the basis of progressive rock. That said, I have no Cars albums in my collection, so who I am to judge?

    The Cars were in that original "new wave" movement...definitely not prog.
