It's always seemed that way, which typically opens another can of worms, but it's all in good fun, while there are the typical prog bands like YES, ELP, King Crimson, Tull, and Someone like Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Uriah Heep, Alan Parsons project, which fit loosely into the "prog" category. There were so many other bands that simply went under the radar, like the whole Canterbury scene, even Gentle Giant, as proggy as a band can get was somewhat under the radar.
But I try to put posts up of bands with lesser notoriety, yet squarely and undoubtedly Progressive. Just wanting to spread the good music for the people that may want to go beyond the norm..
Today's offering is DFA - 2008 - 4th, the great Italian band, that perhaps has left us with just a short discography.
