They weren't as aggressive as MC-5 and The Stooges but they had the ethos down pat.

Richman's photo on the cover with the long-hairs could be from any indy 90's-00's band. The kid even has his ears showing.

This is kind of like if the Velvet Underground were from Texas but also dropped way more acid. 1967 psychedelic proto-postpunk? Can that even be a thing?

I just found an original copy of this in a ratty cardboard box from a friend-of-a-friend's storage unit castoffs.
